I have a Winforms application built on .NET Framework 4.7 running on client's desktops. Client would like to run it on a tablet running Windows IOT.
I've found a couple of articles indicating it should run on Windows IOT Enterprise, but not Windows IOT. However, I haven't been able to find much official documentation.
Can anyone enlighten me and/or point me to some official documentation?

You probably want to go to the Windows for IoT documentation.
Do you want to run Windows IoT Core as kiosk? This 'leight-weight' version of Windows only support UWP apps.
If you go for a more complete Windows version (including desktop and start button), check out Windows 10 IoT Enterprise.
Thank you. The documentation is what I need. As I stated, I have a Winforms application built on .NET Framework 4.7 that I would like to run on a tablet device. It is not UWP. We don't want to build a new app.

The Windows 10 IoT Enterprise has "Full Windows UI support (e.g. UWP, WinForms, etc)".
Also check out the 'industrial' LTSC version which only get security updates and patches, no user stuff like store, games, cortana.

I also need a definitive answer. All I have been able to find is that Windows 10 IOT Enterprise supports WinForms apps. WinForms apps come in two varieties, Framework and Core. Where can I find out if Windows 10 IOT Enterprise supports WinForms Framework (4.8) apps?
