    Hello,

Unfortunately, i7-7500U processor is not compatible for Windows 11, according to Microsoft.

Please check with official Windows 11 list of supported processors: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/minimum/supported/windows-11-supported-intel-processors

You can drop a feedback to Microsoft about this, using Feedback hub app.

    Regards.

    Hi there,

Only 8th generation processors are supported for Windows 11. This is been specified by the PC manufacturers for improved security and performance. It seems 7500U is not on the list.

Again, the Intel i7-7500U processor exceeds all of the Microsoft minimum processor criteria for Windows 11. There are seventh generation processors on the approved list. Why is this processor not on the approved list.

I have two, two year old high end machines, with Intel Core processors and neither is capable of running this new crap. At only two years old, it is a travesty that they are obsolete.
You pigs at Microsoft should get your heads out of your behinds and make software that will work on reasonably current equipment. I am NOT spending a total of over $1,800 to replace them.
You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Dell Inspiron 5567 's Intel(R) Core (TM) i7-7500U CPU @ 2.70GHz   2.90 GHz is full capable of running Windows 11 but is not listed in Microsoft Windows 11 supported processor list. Neither the windows update is pushing, and it says is not capable of running windows 11.

But, All the requirements are fully meet:

    1. TPM 2.0
    2. UEFI BIOS
    3. Processor (Intel(R) Core (TM) i7-7500U CPU @ 2.70GHz   2.90 GHz)
    4. Processor Instruction Set Extensions Intel® SSE4.1, Intel® SSE4.2, Intel® AVX2
    5. Supports Secure Boot
    6. RAM 8 GB
    7. SSD 256 GB

Please add support for Dell Inspiron 5567 's Intel(R) Core (TM) i7-7500U CPU @ 2.70GHz 2.90 GHz in the Windows 11 Official processor list and provide us windows 11 update for this device?
