On Microsoft Learn, “challenges” are time‑bound learning collections that appear under the Challenges area of a Learn profile.
To find and engage them:
- Go to the Challenges home page.
- Sign in with the same account used for Microsoft Learn.
- Browse the list of active challenges (for example, Microsoft Ignite Challenges or AI Challenges) and select one to see its details and required training collection.
- Select the option to register/join the challenge, then complete all listed modules/units before the challenge end date.
- To track progress, either:
- Open the same challenge card on the Challenges home page (it will show a progress bar or a “completed” checkmark), or
- Go to the challenge’s leaderboard page, which shows how many items are completed out of the total (for example, 8/8).
To see recent or in‑progress challenges tied to a Learn profile:
- Open the Microsoft Learn profile challenges view.
- Review active and recently completed challenges from the last 30 days.
Some events (such as Microsoft Ignite or AI Challenge sweepstakes) publish specific qualifying challenges and may require an additional sweepstakes entry form after completing the challenge collection; details and deadlines are listed on the corresponding FAQ pages and challenge descriptions.
