Azure increases my bill with deactivated account

I am a student and I have activated DOS protection for a university assignment . I deactivated my account when it was at $176 and one day after deactivation it is $220. It increased by almost $50 with a deactivated subscription. And it keeps increasing , delete everything .

I still have not been charged on my card because it is a debit card. I am afraid that at the end of the month it will be more than $1000.

Azure DOS protection is charged monthly irrelevant of per day changes. I don't know what you mean by deactivating your account but as long as the service is set up you'll get charged. This is common for most Azure services. Disabling/shutting down a service doesn't prevent costs except those based upon resource usage. Remove the service from your account to ensure you don't get charged but, again, it is documented as being monthly so I'm not sure what happens if you cancel mid month.
