You can customize the Genie One home page appearance, including branding colors and logos, a welcome message, and pinned content such as recommended Genie Spaces or dashboards. Customize the home page at the workspace level for all users in a workspace, or at the account level.
Customize the workspace-level homepage
Workspace admins can customize the Genie One home page for all users in the workspace. To customize the workspace-level home page, you must be a workspace administrator.
Customize the appearance
- Click your username in the top bar of the Azure Databricks workspace and select Settings.
- In the Settings sidebar, click Appearance.
- Next to Genie One home page, click Edit.
- Customize any of the following:
- Color: Select a brand color for the homepage.
- Logo: Upload a logo image.
- Markdown text: Add a welcome message, links, or announcements for your team. This field supports Markdown.
- Click Save to apply your changes, or Reset to revert to the defaults.
Manage pinned content
Workspace admins can pin Genie Spaces, dashboards, or other assets to the Genie One homepage so that users see recommended content when they open Genie One.
- Click your username in the top bar of the Azure Databricks workspace and select Settings.
- In the Settings sidebar, click Appearance.
- Next to Genie homepage, click Edit.
- Toggle Pinned content enabled on to display pinned assets on the homepage.
- Click Edit pinned assets.
- Click Select pinned assets and choose the assets to pin.
- Click Save.
Customize the account-level homepage
You can customize the account-level Genie One home page from your preferences. The customization options are the same as the workspace-level home page.
- Click your username in the top bar and select Settings.
- Click the My preferences tab.
- Under Appearance preferences, next to Genie One home page, click Edit.
- Customize the color, logo, markdown text, and pinned content, the same as the workspace-level home page.
- Click Save.
