Certified Teams displays

The category of Teams devices referred to as ‘Teams displays’ that was introduced in early 2023 will no longer be supported due to lack of market demand and evolving customer needs.
The adoption of this category of devices was not strong enough to warrant continued investment by Microsoft and our device partners. While these devices may be very relevant for specific use cases, the market indicates an appetite for users bringing their own device, such as a laptop, to connect to peripherals in these types of spaces.
Microsoft is focusing efforts to meet the needs of shared work desk scenarios on bookable desk solutions combining the Teams desktop software with certified for Teams peripherals from our device partners. For IT teams, we will provide valuable space and device usage analytics and insights for intelligent planning through the Teams Rooms Pro Management service and Microsoft Places.
End of support for the Teams displays app is September 3, 2025.
