A family of Microsoft word processing software products for creating web, email, and print documents.

Microsoft doesn't listen to the people that BUY their products, maybe they will listen to YOU! Just when I have reconciled myself to Microsoft's idea of "improvement", along comes something else that we need, can't find or have to pay an additional fee for. ClipArt. I tend to ask rhetorical questions, so please don't feel you need to answer! LOL!!! But, I use my computer for PRODUCTIVITY. I DO NOT play games on my computer. I WORK for a living.
I don't know what the top executives at Microsoft think the rest of the world does with their computers, but not ALL of us are gamers!!! WHY did they change Windows 8.1 to the point that we can't normal activities we used to use to get our work done. I spend more time now either poking around in Windows, or searching on line, or on one of these Community Support sites than I do accomplishing the tasks of my job.
I hear Windows 10 is "supposed" to be better, but then I hear that so many of the features we have found useful in the past will not be there - like CLIPART. Now, we must expose our computers to the scary world of online searches and downloads from sources we don't know are trustworthy or not.
We used to trust Microsoft for downloads, but now even that's going away. I would love to know what the 5-year, 10-year and 20-year plans are for Microsoft - if they even have any. I feel as though there IS NO plan; that changes are made spontaneously without thought of how those changes are going to effect the consumer and the business world they work in.
I've fought the idea of changing over to Apple products for a long time. However, they are looking better and better every day. Microsoft executives need to come down from their lofty towers into the REAL WORKING world to see the frustration we deal with everyday because of their ill-thought-out decisions. Pretty pictures, cute names like "jewels", "charms", etc seem to be directed to children and immature adults. These things do not make up for the loss of productivity of the working adults out here.
OK I've had my vent! Sorry I took up your time here, but since Microsoft seems to be afraid to develop a portal through which we can speak directly to them, we can only vent to others of like minds.
