Share a link that opens a powerpoint slideshow

Hi,

I use OneDrive and Powerpoint online. I would like to share a presentation with friends but instead of sharing the OneDrive created link, I would like to share a link that opens the slideshow  / full screen view automatically. Is that possible?  Is there something I can add to the URL to make that happen?

Thanks,

AG

    Hi,

Thank you for choosing Microsoft Community.

To share a presentation online as a slide show, you need to create a view-only copy of it.

    To do that,

    • Right click on the Presentation and click on Share.
    • Click on Get Link.
    • In the Choose an option drop down select View Only and then click on Create Link.

Now copy the link and share it with your friends.

Please post back if you have any issues related to Outlook 2013 or Office 2013.

    Thank you

    Hi,

    Thank you for your reply.

Opening the presentation in full screen (slide show mode) automatically, which is shared to others is not possible as it is by design.

Thanks a lot! I was actually hoping to be able to open the presentation in full screen (slide show mode) automatically. Something like: http://URL?fullscreen ....

    Any idea?

    Thanks,

    AG
