@George Chrysovalantis Grammatikos , For the error code "0x87d13c33" (-2016330701), it means notSupportedOperation.

In General, updates will only apply to devices enrolled through Apple's Automated Device Enrollment (with ABM or ASM). Please confirm if the enrollment method of the device is ADE.

    Hope it can help.

This error is usually cause by one of two issues. either you are trying to apply an older update through policy than the device has installed. (not allowing downgrade) or the device is not compatible with the OS that you are trying to install. Try changing your update version to either current or 17.0.3, should solve your issue.

I too have not been able to get to the bottom of getting an iOS Update Policy to apply on our DEP Devices. Have a mix of shared devices DEP Enrolled without user affinity and devices assigned to staff with User Affinity this is occurring for them all. Also found it frustrating to set maintenance windows, because our time zone is not an available option. Secondly for all these DEP Devices enrolled with user affinity with Federated Apple accounts and installing apps as required with a VPP License, we are seeing errors stating the app status has failed "App update is available" seems to indicate the user must manually update via Company Portal, but there is no such option to do so within the app.
