Using Excel to Auto Fill in Dates by Week

I would first like to apologize for being illiterate in anything but Microsoft Word and I have tried everything I have found online and seemly still to stupid to understand.

I have 290 clients with appointments ranging from every 2 weeks to every 11 weeks.  So I need to find an easier way than counting out on a calendar week by week when the next appointment falls.

So if someone has an appointment on June 30th I need to count out every 3 weeks until December 24th.  Can someone give me idiot directions for that or point me in the correct direction.  Doing it my way takes about 3 days.  Thank you

In A2 I have entered the start date. If you are in USA you would type 6/30.

In B2 I typed =A2+21, and pressed Enter key

I click on B2 and observed the fill handle (samml sold square in lower right corner); when the mouse if over this, it changes to an + sign. Hold down left mouse button and drag to the right

You will need to widen the cell to see the date: double click on the line between the two column letters to automatically adjust the column width.

On row 3 I show that these are all Tuesdays

Formula in A3 is =A2 and then I gave it a custom format of ddd

best wishes - come back if more details needed

    Bernard,

Thank you so much for idiot directions!  I was clearly missing that little bitty + sign I could barely see.  One last question; I tried skipping a line and adding another client but it kept repeating the exact same info as you show.  Does that mean I have to delete those lines each time and start over?

Thank you again so very much.
