How do you know its a valid Key?

What is the exact error msg generated?

And in Word, what is shown for product info?

It is valid because I got it from Microsoft. I had the problem with MS Project 2010 NOT MS Office!

    Problem sorted out.

I have a similar issue.  I have a retail version of MS Project 2010.  The license key is in the package.  However when trying to 're-install' MS Project I am getting the message that "This is not a valid Office Product Key..."  It is valid.  Where can I get support to resolve this and reinstall MS Project?
