hi i am trying to print 2 copies of the same page on one page.
I have a 2 page document and i want Page 1 to print 2 copies on the same page. And then page 2 to print 2 copies on the same page.
I have tried setting the pages to 1,1,2,2 but this splits the page into 4 sections. with page 1 twice and page 2 twice on the same page.

I suspect that on the Margins tab of the Page Setup dialog, you may have two pages per sheet selected from the Multiple Pages drop down. Rather, you should have Normal selected.
and in the Print dialog, the settings should be
In the Print screen select two pages per sheet and then print the page numbers as you have them specified.
If you already have "2 pages per sheet" selected in Page Setup, then you should leave that (since you presumably have the pages set up for that size) and instead use "1 page per sheet" in the Print dialog. For more on the different "2 pages per sheet" settings, see http://wordfaqs.mvps.org/2PagesPerSheet.htm.
Unless that setting was changed when wanting to get the required output.
thats what i did and it split it up into 4 sections it did the 2 copies of each but put it all on one page instead of 2 pages.
