how do I make word docs open full screen and not minimised/half screen

When I open up a new Word doc it only opens up to a minimised version. I then have to hit the "expand to full screen" icon in the top right hand corner to make it full screen. How do I set up Windows XP (my current work OS) to make a) any word doc that I create ... and b) and word doc that is sent to me.... open in full size/full screen ?

Thanks, Mike.

Click on Start > Programs > Microsoft Office > Word > right click on it and select Properties.

Under the Shortcut tab > Ensure that the drop down for ‘Run’ is set to Maximized.

Once you set this on the Start menu, it will open every document maximized. You don't have to repeat the actions.

So if I wanted every document I would have to do this routine?
