Using Window 10 and Office 365

I need to replace the personal.xlsb file to my Excel XLSTART folder on my C: Drive but I do not seem to bore down to XLSTART using file explorer. If I go to this pc and choose C: then Users, then my user name I get only such things a Documents, Favorites, One Drive, etc. I need to get to AppData and then bore down to XLSTART. Can someone please tell me how to get C: completely? I am an administrator.

Thank you.

Try the following into the address bar of File Explorer (replacing what's there):

    %appdata%\microsoft\excel\xlstart

    and press Enter.

The AppData folder is hidden, and in a new installation, hidden files and folders aren't shown.

To change this, activate the View tab of the ribbon of File Explorer.

Click the upper part of the Options button.

Activate the View tab of the Folder Options dialog.

Under 'Hidden files, folders and drives', select 'Show hidden files, folders and drives'.

    Click OK.

You should now be able to see AppData and its subfolders.

Yes, thank you.  That got me where I needed to go.  But, surely, the File Explorer should have taken me there.  Since this is a new clean installation I'm sure I will be needing to go to the inside of C: several times and File Explorer has always taken me there.  What do I need to do to get that happening again.

    Thanks again.
