I just bought Office Home & Student 2021 .

The installer won't work as I'm using Mac OS High Sierra.

So I've downloaded earlier version: Office 2011 Home and Student for Mac.

But the Product Key I just purchaed won't work with Office 2011 Home and Student for Mac.

Can I do something about it or have I just lost my money?

    Thanks @John Korchok ,

I didn't think about checking compatibility before buying. Lesson learned.

I'm mostly using this mac Laptop for photoprocessing so I'll switch to LibreOffice.

The 2021 version never ran on High Sierra, so there is no earlier version that you can install successfully. I can run Office 2016 16.16 under High Sierra, and the linked post mentions Office for Mac 2019, but your product key wouldn't work with either of those.

    Thanks for replying @KurtBMayer
The download link is for Microsoft Office Business pro, but I bought Office Home & Student 2021.
So I imagine that my product key won't match the product.
