Language Accessory Pack for Office 2016 for Mac OS X

Hi,

I have been looking for a LAP for Mac OS X for Office 2016 but with no result. There is this page for Windows-based computers: https://support.office.com/en-AU/article/Language-Accessory-Pack-for-Office-2016-82ee1236-0f9a-45ee-9c72-05b026ee809f, is there anything similar for Macs? 

More specifically, I need proofing tools for Belarusian.

Office 2016 for Mac supports about 46 languages, with a few variants: Proofing Tools in Office 2016 for Mac. Belarusian is not one of them.

    Thanks for the tips, I know how to choose interface language and change regional settings. I also know how to choose a language for spellcheck from the available list of languages--the question was not really about that.

    What I am looking for is proofing tools for a particular language, which seem to be available for PC users (see the link in my original message), but not for Mac, which is a pity. Makes me use LibreOffice more frequently.

    Microsoft has never used language Packs for Mac. They've always provided  version written in desired Language. To make sure you download the correct one.

    1. Go to  menu
    2. Go to Language & Region
    3. Go to language side of window choose desired language.
    4. Go to Region side and set desired country or region.
    5. Save changes and get out of Preferences Now go to Microsoft's Website and  you should be able to down load in desired language.

    Now you can  Proof read  spell and Grammar and such in another language that involves going into tools menu to spelling and grammar and choosing desired language.

    Thanks, but again, the question is not about interface, it's about proofing tools (spellcheck). Anyway, Belarusian is not available for checking spelling in Word on Mac.

    There is only one version of Office for Mac 2016, and it supports 18 different languages in the user interface, and many additional languages in the proofing tools:

    • Chinese (Simplified)
    • Chinese (Traditional)
    • Danish
    • Dutch
    • English (U.S.)
    • Finnish
    • French
    • German
    • Indonesian
    • Italian
    • Japanese
    • Norwegian (Bokmål)
    • Polish
    • Portuguese (Brazil)
    • Portuguese (Portugal)
    • Russian
    • Spanish
    • Swedish

    If you want to change the user interface to one of the 18 supported languages, follow Phillip's steps before you launch Excel, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint or Word.
