Message Trace Result

I did a Mail Flow Message Trace to a Distribution List.  On the Message Trace Results Status column, the Status delivery shows "Expanded." Then to find out what that meant, I double clicked the grid and gave me the events and the action details:

First Event was "Expand" - Action Detail: The message was sent to a distribution list (DL) that was expanded to the recipients of the DL.

Second Event was "Spam Diagnostics"

Third Event was "DROP" - Action Details:Reason: [{LRT=};{LED=250 2.1.5 RESOLVER.GRP.Expanded; distribution list expanded};{FQDN=};{IP=}]

My question is what is "DROP" means? Did the email got delivered to the DL intended recipients or it didn't?

    hi fantastic mr. alo,

i’ve run a test based on your description, and get a same event “drop”. the email sent to the distribution group was delivered to every recipients in the distribution group.

the event “drop” means the email sent to the distribution group was expanded to every recipients in the distribution group and the recipients in the distribution group did receive the email individually.

    thanks,

    mouran
