Cannot get a "command" activated in the "tab" INSERT: Drop Cap Option appears but is grayed out. Step-by-step instructions please (have been trying for 2 hours). Thanks!

For the Drop Cap options to activate, the paragraph must contain text, and the paragraph cannot be in a table cell or text box/shape.
