get error 1935 when trying to install MS Office 2007 on new computer upgraded to windows 10

I recently upgraded my new computer from windows 8.1 to windows 10. I am now trying to install MS Office 2007 on the new computer but continue to get "Error 1935: error occurred during assembly component...". I have tried reboot etc. to no avail. I have checked the help/support questions but have found none that help or deal with windows 10 problems. The MS Office program was originally installed on an older computer which is no longer operational. Would really appreciate MS Tech help.

Run the system file checker, sfc

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929833

Does it find & fix any problems?

The error usually relates a .Net framework problem but can also be caused by a third party utility running in the background

This reply was helpful in that it eliminated integrity violations as the cause of the error, since none were found. The reply does not advise me what to do next to solve the error problem. Please do not tell me that the only solution is to buy a new version of Office.
