How would I be able to print 11x17 size document in Word 2010 to 8.5x11 paper without corrupting the design and without one-by-one adjusting the size of text & picture. Please help me. Thank you!

At File | Print (Ctrl+P), click the arrow beside 1 Page Per Sheet and then Scale to Paper Size. The menu that opens will depend on the selected printer but should include Letter. Choose that.

Word cannot do it.  But if you save the file as a pdf and then Print from Adobe, in the Print dialog, you can select Tile large pages from the Page Scaling: dropdown.

Even then however, your printer is probably not going to be able to print "full bleed" right to the edge of the page, so you will get a white band down the middle.

No, this does NOT work, this will RE-Scale the document. I want to span 2 pages so that you can set two 8 1/2 x 11 pages together in portrait position and thus have ONE 11x17 document in Landscape. that way my SCALED drawing is still to scale. Well in this case I am making a stencil and want it for an 11x17 sign NOT 8 1/2 x 11.   The whole reason for doing this is I don't have an 11x17 printer but I DO have a roll of scotch tape

Thanks Doug, that is actually what I did although with a different PDF software. Yes I did get a margin band which I expected but it did not corrupt the letters, I simply trimmed it off and taped the pages together and it's good enough for a stencil.

    Thx for your response!
