How to create tear-off tabs

I need to create a Word document with tear-offs on the bottom with vertical text but none of the instructions on the inter[net] work or make sense. I have Office 2010.

    Tear-off tabs are often used at the bottom of posted flyers to provide a phone number or other contact information for interested parties. Publisher provides templates for these. Here's an example from Publisher 2003:

    Put a one row table at the bottom of the document with as many columns as you want "Tear Offs" and then select that row and from the Table Tools> Layout tab of the ribbon, use the facility to change the direction of the text in the cells of the table.

    Hi, you can create text in a Text box and rotate that box to any angle! I'm still using old Word versions, but I'm sure in the new ones it is pretty much the same! Look for Insert > Textbox, and the rest should be easy!

    Give us links to the instructions you found. Tell us what you don't understand. Maybe we can translate them for you.

    What do you mean by "tear-off tabs".  That is not something I recognize as a word feature.  What do you want to do with these "tabs"? Is it just a visual thing?
