Subscription to EA, different tenant

Hi,

I would like to move a subscription that is on tenant A, to/under an Enterprise Agreement (EA) which is connected to tenant B. I have access to both tenants and the EA on tenant B.

I tried to change the subscription's Account Admin to my account (according to https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/role-based-access-control/transfer-subscription ), but I get the error message "Looks like your organization is enrolled in an Azure Enterprise Agreement", "This offer is not available to enterprise users" error.

Do I have to move the subscription on tenant A to tenant B first (change directory)?

Any help would be appreciated.

BR,
Grácián Gy

    Hello @Grácián Gy ,

Thank you for your question. I understand you wish to associate a subscription to an Enterprise agreement enrollment. In order to add an account of different domain to enrollment the authentication level set on the enrollment must be Work or School Account Cross Tenant.

An enterprise admin (read and write access) can update the authentication level. Once it is updated you can add the account under the enrollment. And this will automatically associate the subscription under the account to EA. Please refer mosp-ea-transfer document for detailed explanation.

In case of further queries please raise a support ticket and the tam would be able to assist you further.

    Kind Regards,
    Divya.

Hi @Grácián Gy . There is also one workaround, which You can use. Please add Your account (enrolled in EA) to second tenant & than under subscription blade migrate subscription to another tenant. After migration add users from target tenant to roles in subscription. Just my reccomendation- please create also account for You in target tenant to make sure that You will be ale to avoid any potential issues (e.g in case when guest access will be disabled in future)
