Add on called MOREFUNC

Hi all,

I am trying to find a way to perform a similar task like the  INDIRECT.EXT function provided on the MOREFUNC add posted while ago by a good Samaritan

Basically what I need is to collect data from multiples files and worksheets (with defined format) into a master file just like when you use the equal sign (=) followed by the file name, worksheet and the cell number.

I have to tell you that I am very happy usinf the add on but it only works on office 2003 and that is getting a bit of problem with the rest of workers using newer versions.

Any idea?

I am using the Windows 7, 64 bits and Office Excel 2013 and/or 2016.

Thank a lot in advance.

Jorge M

    Hi,

The Morefunc add-in will work on any MS Excel version provided the Excel installation there is 32 Bit (the Bit rate of Windows can be 32 or 64).  You may refer to my solution at this link.

    Hope this helps.

    Mohamed,

Thank you to take time an try to find a solution to my request.

The  INDIRECT. EXT function is not the same as the INDI REC T that comes with the excel application, it is actually an add in customized to use text as part of equation in the formula.

    Any other idea?

    Thanks
