Converting a Powerpoint flow chart to Visio or Publisher

Hello,

I am looking to convert a flowchart made in PowerPoint to either Visio or Publisher.

When I try and move over into Publisher it converts the entire flow chart into an un-editable jpg image.

The flow chart has gotten too big to properly manage in PowerPoint and I need a program to make editing easier, I know Visio would be the best option for me but I only have access to Publisher. If it is not possible to do in Publisher I will be attempting to aquire Visio - If I do manage to aquire Visio does anyone know if it is possible to migrate the flow chart in PowerPoint to Visio and keeping the chart editable?

TIA

Beth J

this is no longer very useful. The link is still there but requires you to have Visio 2010 only, it will not work with later versions.

For future visitors,  a converter isn't really needed any more, simply select all and copy from your powerpoint, then open a new visio and paste. The lines/text will copy over as objects not as a bitmap/image. You will have to do some cleanup to group them as objects but it works!

    Hi Raju,

Is this an actual Microsoft Product? the problem I'm having is that I need this at work and cannot download plug-ins or anything without approval.

    Cheers,

    Beth J
