Hello Experts,
I have a worksheet that is shared with 3 other users, I created it in Excel 2016 and the others edit it in Excel online, they do not have Excel 2016 installed on their computers.
It is a sales tracking workbook, each staff member has their own worksheet and their individual sales are listed on each row, the item sold is selected from a drop-down list and the $$$ awarded populates the award column.
As far as I am aware the worksheet does not have any shapes or objects.
Recently, when the other users have tried to edit the file in excel online, they get a message that the file cannot be edited as shapes or objects are not supported in Excel online. The spreadsheet has been in use for a number of months and this is a new issue.
It has happened once before, on that occasion I created a brand new workbook and copied and pasted everybody's worksheets from the old to the new. I really don't want to have to do that again.
Is there a solution for my problem?
Thanks in advance,
Ian

Does your Excel workbook has many worksheets? If yes, did you try in all worksheets?
Also paste the picture of your message, it may not be due to Shapes or Objects? What other features are you using in that worksheet.
Look into below links and see what all features are not supported by Excel Online...You should be able to zero down on your problem..
Hello,
Thank you for the suggestions, neither of them worked. Didn't find any objects and excel online still insists of not being able to edit the worksheet because of unsupported features, shapes or objects.
Thanks,
Ian
