Microsoft Office 2016 update button missing

I just installed MS Office 2016 Pro Plus edition and its build version is 16.0.4312.1000. The problem is that on File -> Account page the update buttons/options are not present below the "About" button. As much as I can remember, the last office 2016 installation I had sometime ago had those options through which I used to update to latest build. How can I get those back? Is there some edition difference?

Note: I tried installing updates through Windows Update. Some updates were installed but the build version was the same!

    Is the Update button is not at all available or grayed out?

    It was not there at all, but I've fixed it now.

    I uninstalled it and installed the RTM version of Office 2016 (the one with Click to Run setup). And now the button is back!

    Is this thread being monitored? I really need this update due to the Cursor lag issue. It has fixed the issue on my "stand alone" installs. How can I get this build installed on my servers since the Update Option Button is missing?

    Would all these dumb people with Microsoft next to the name STOP giving the same **** advice of Let's reinstall..

    Get over it, we do not want to reinstall anything ever if possible!

    I have uninstalled MS Office Pro + 2016 from my system and still same issue, update icon still missing. Before doing complete uninstall, I also had tried 'repair' option from Programs and feature - after repair prompted me for reboot and didn't fix the issue then I did complete uninstall option. 

    Any suggestion? would be greatly appreciated it !!!

    I have this same issue on server 2008r2. Button is missing, repair did not help.
