I want to remove personal data (Metadata) from my Word documents.  It was pretty easy to do in earlier version of Word, but I can't seem to find in in Office 365 Word.

Suggestions?

If you have Office 365 for Mac, I think the answer is to go to Tools/Protect Document

You have several options including Protect the Document From Tracked Changes, and also you can Remove Personal Information.

Unfortunately, there is no File / Info option in Office 365 Word.  (See screenshot attached.)

It looks like this is a (valuable) feature that didn't make it to this version yet.   :-(

Since Word in Office 365 is supposedly (for now, anyway) identical to Word 2013,  you should find this in the same place as in Word 2010: File | Info: Inspect Document | Check for Issues | Inspect Document. This gives you the opportunity to "inspect" the document and remove personal information.

You clearly have a Mac version. You'll need to post here: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/mac/forum/macword
