Inspect document for removing hidden data and personal information in Word 2016 (15.14)

Hello.

A few months ago I updated my Office 360 for Mac version to its 2016 version. I usually work with Word and, because of my job, sometimes I need to remove all the personal information that is hidden within a document. I used to do this with the "Inspect document" tool, but since I updated to Word 15.14 I haven't been able to do it because I can't find where this tool is. According to Office's support page I should find it in File>Info.>Check for Issues, but when I open the File tab there's nothing called "Info.".

Is there anyone who knows where can I find the "Inspect document" tool on Word 15.14?

Thanks

    • The support page you consulted pertains to the Windows version of Word... For help with a Mac version of a program, start with Help in its main menu. Always specify for Mac when searching & check the Applies to: blurb typically shown at the bottom of an article.
    • Mac Word never has had the Document Inspector. It's a tool used in the Windows version of Word. To remove personal info in Mac Word go to Tools> Protect Document or click the Protect Document button on the Review tab of the Ribbon, then check the box at the bottom of the dialog window. [In prior Mac versions this was located in the Privacy & Security Preferences.]
    • Your installation is seriously behind on updates. Version 15.19.1 is the current version.
