Greetings, the title says it all.I have 4 chapters in my document each having a different section(section break).I have shown the page numbers, but want to hide on the first page of each chapter, better can be called as a cover page.

Any ideas how to achieve this?I have attached something for better understanding.

Thank you in advance for any responses.

When you enable Different First Page for a given section (and it must be done separately for each existing section), you get a new, separate First Page Header/Footer for each section. By default these will be empty, so you don't actually have to do anything. Don't remove numbering from the primary Header/Footer, which will be used for the remaining pages in the section.

You need to go to the Primary Header/Footer of each section, which is the one that will appear on the second page and insert the page number field on that Header/Footer.   The First Page Header/Footers are not related to the Primary Header/Footers and can have completely different content.

Sir,I tried it but was unsuccessful. First of all by Different first page I hope you meant this:

When I remove the page number on first page like the one above, it removes the page number everywhere.

One extra note,I would like to inform you that I have set page numbers to Start from previous

in format page numbers because it was earlier starting page numbers from a new section.

Set each Section to have a Different First Page Header\Footer and remove any page numbering from the First Page Header\Footer.
