Powerpoint Screen Recording...Will not play back during slideshow

I am recording an presentation to be used online, and I am encountering a problem with one particular slide.

On this slide, I have two voice recordings and one screen recording. Both appear to work fine in the edit screen. However, when I view the slideshow it will only play the two voice recordings and skip the screen recording completely. Then it goes onto the next slide. I've doubled checked to ensure that the screen recording will play after the voice over, yet that didn't work either.

Has anyone ever encountered this issue?

    Hello Misti,

Please provide more information before we proceed.

Does this issue occurs in all PowerPoint presentation containing Screen recording?

Let us try creating a new test PowerPoint presentation, add voice recording and Screen recording. Now run the presentation in slideshow to check if the screen recording plays as expected. Please refer to the steps mentioned below to create self-running presentation.

    https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Create-a-self-running-presentation-57FC41AE-F36A-4FB5-94A3-52D5BC466037

This is to verify if the issue is with the specific PowerPoint presentation.

Please post back with the result and information asked for further assistance.

    Thank you.

    Hello Misti,

As the voice recording and screen recording worked fine in new Presentation file, the issue may be related with screen recordings in the current presentation file.

I suggest you to try removing old screen recording slides and then add new screen recording slide and check if it works as expected.

I hope the above information helps. Let us know if you need further assistance.

    Thank you.

    Hi Parth,

Thank you for your assistance. The voice recording and screen recording did play back properly this time. So is there an issue with my powerpoint presentation? If so, how can I fix it? There are a total of 50 slides and 10 include screen recording.

I also created a new self running presentation with the presentation already created; however, it still didn't work.

    I'd appreciate any assistance.

    Thank you!
