sorry for confusing you.
I have a word document I want to update. I get a Product Notice saying 'features of Word have been disabled because it hasn't been activated'
then I enter to Activate. I enter my ******@hotmail.com address and password. it says 'please sign in with the account associated with your product' I don't know what the account associated with this product is.
my pc is updated with Office 2016.
Hotmail through chrome. I need to update a word document, but it says I have to activate office. trying to do that by logging into my hotmail address, but it says it's not associated with the office product. this is the only email address I have - ******@hotmail.com
Do you mean a hotmail account used in MS Outlook, or do you mean a hotmail account accessed via your web browser? - and is that a hotmail password or MS Account password/credentials?
I'm confused, what has Hotmail accessed via your web browser got to do with Office?
You have Office 2016 installed?
You start Word and open a doc.............what then?
