The built-in Microsoft Print to PDF application can combine multiple pictures into one multipage PDF file:

    • Select the pictures in File Explorer,
    • Right-click any of them,
    • Select Print from the context menu.
    • Select 'Microsoft Print to PDF' from the printer dropdown.
    • Select the desired options.

This does not work for arbitrary documents though; you do need a third-party utility for that.

You'll need an application that can edit PDF files such as Adobe Acrobat, or one of the online services that let you merge PDF files, such as http://www.pdfmerge.com/

Get hold of the free PrimoPDF converter which will install as a printer.  When you use it to print a document (one of your pdfs) to a file that already exists, it will give you the option of either appending the file to the existing one or over-writing it.  Use the first option.

Isn't that the same as what I suggested 3 years ago?

You need a desktop program, called pdf printer. With it, you can just send 3 your files to print into one file and they will be appended. For further information about Primopdf pdf printer you can check thisguide : https://primopdffreedownload.blogspot.com/

Does this mean that the native (Windows 10) Microsoft Print to PDF application can not combine the pdfs? It can only be done with a third-party application?
