Reduce Network Diagram Size

Hi all,

I'm using MS Project Professional 2016 64-bit. I have a small project that I need to print for a College Presentation.

When I go to print it, it takes about 12 pages to print it, since the boxes are considerably big on the pages.

Is there anything I can do to reduce it to maybe 2 pages?

Attached, a screenshot of the Network Diagram.

Thanks in advance.

    Thadeu,

There are a few things you can do but keep in mind that if you reduce the diagram too much, it may not be readable.

First, you can reduce the spacing between boxes. Go to Format/Format group/Layout icon. Adjust the row and column spacing.

Second, adjust the scaling by going to File/Print/Page Setup/Page tab

Third, make sure you are not printing blank pages. Go to File/Print/Page Setup/View tab

Fourth, consider collapsing the outline to only show summary tasks, or perhaps collapse select summaries.

    Hope this helps.

    John

No matter how much you fiddle with the formatting of the network diagram, it will always be an uneconomical use of the paper you are printing it on. There is always going to be a lot of white space, or it will be so small that it will be unreadable. The Gantt Chart and a table conveys the same or more information but is more compact and economical.
