Microsoft Word 2016 Problem with Numbering in Arabic (Hindi)

i have changed the display of numeral characters in MS Word (Advanced/show document contents/numeral) to context. when i type a number in Arabic, everything is fine and it displays the Arabic numbers but when I press Enter and it is changed to Numbering bullets, the numbers are back in English and there is no way to change it.

please help me with this.

    Dear Doug,

    it does not work, please check the beow screenshot. The number formats are fine within the document including the footer as you can see in teh below file but the problem still exists for the numbering list.
