Does anyone know how to lock a day for the schedule in Microsoft Project i.e. A specific budget review is only on Tuesdays and Thursdays?

aznchipmunk,

So are you a Northern Arizona chipmunk, a neutral Arizona chipmunk, or perhaps a new Arizona chipmunk :-)

Yes, create a custom calendar that only has Tuesdays and Thursdays as working days and then select that calendar as the task calendar for those specific budget review tasks. You can either add the Task Calendar field as a column in the Gantt Chart view and select it that way or go to Task/Properties group/Information/Advanced tab and select your custom calendar.

Hope this helps.

John

Make a new calendar which has only Tuesdays and Thursdays as working days. Project, Change Working Time, copy the standard calendar, edit the copy.

Apply the calendar to the particular tasks which can only happen on those days
