Can't center text in table cells

I have a table in word with a double spacing. I changed the alignment of table and cell as "Center" in Table Properties, but the text is still too close to the top. Top and bottom margins in "Cell Options" are 0.

And I didn't add space before/after paragraph.

Please let me know what to do. I tried word 2016 Windows and on Mac, same issues. It's so annoying.

Is the paragraph formatted to have space after it?  It it is, that will be taken into account when the text is vertically centered.

Double-spaced text will always have more space after it than before it.  If you want double spaced text to appear vertically centered in the cell of a table, you will need to add space before the paragraph.

For 1.5 line spacing, you will need about 6pt before

Hi, thanks! Adding space before paragraph works for double spacing. But still, it doesn't work for 1.5 spacing. Any thought?
