    Hi Srini,

Thanks for getting back to us.

I’ve just got feedback from our related team that the new billing notification email sent for testing is resent from an old one. Thus, the content of the message should be correct and you may take actions if needed. Just let me know if any further assistance is needed.

    Regards,

    Sam

    Hi Srini,

    Thanks for posting back.

I’ve just got feedback from our related team that they’ve tried to remove the specific email address from the billing notification list from the backend. After that, they also sent a new Billing notification email to your tenant. Therefore, please check to see if this user is still in the CC list in the new email. If yes, I have also replied to you in the private message to request this email for further troubleshooting.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Best Regards,

    Sam

    Hi Srinivas Pithani,

Thanks for clarifying the situation in the private message.

Now I understand you want to remove an email address from the mailing list that continues to receive billing related notifications although the user has left your company. To do that, I’d like to collect the information below so we can contact our related teams to further help you:

    1. About ‘I have checked in the "billing notifications", I don’t see his email ID but still he gets one.’, please double-confirm this email address is not added as the alternate address of any billing administrator or global administrator. If that’s true, please capture a screenshot about the Billing notifications page and upload it via the private message for our further check.
    2. Please also provide your Office 365 tenant information via the private message.

    Hi Srinivas Pithani,

Aa far as I know, you may receive emails from Microsoft Online Services Team when a new user is created and the creator chooses to generate a notification email. To better understand the situation from your side, could you send us some example emails you received so we can check which kinds of emails they are at first? For privacy concern, you can provide those emails via the private message below:

    https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/privatemessages/list

Moreover, I’d like to confirm the following information:

    1. Do all the users in your organization receive those emails? If so, are they all the same?
    2. About ‘remove them from that mailing list’, could you explain more about which mail list you are referring to? Some relevant screenshots are appreciated.
    3. When did you begin receiving the notification emails?

    Looking forward to your updates.

    Thanks,

    Sam
