I am trying to convert Powerpoint slides to jpeg or png to insert in to iMovie but this seems to be no longer an option. How can I get my individual Powerpoint slides into iMovie?

    Hi Suellen,

In your case, you may try the following steps to see if it works:

    1. Open the PowerPoint you want to convert into JPEG.
    2. Click File>Export.
    3. You can find the option “JEPG, PNG” in File Format box.
    4. Click Save, the images will be shown in the location where you save.

Here is an article for your reference: File formats for saving and exporting presentations in PowerPoint 2016 for Mac.

About "How can I get my individual PowerPoint slides into iMovie", you can refer to Apple's official article:

Add Photos images to an iMovie project.

If the above don't work, you may share the following information with us.

    1. Your Office client version (Go to PowerPoint>PowerPoint on the upper menu>About PowerPoint).
    2. Your Operating System version (Go to the upper menu>Apple icon>About Mac).

You can't change the resolution after exporting (well, you can, but the results won't be very nice).  You can specify the number of pixels you want on the Export dialog though.

After converting to a PNG or JPEG can you change the file size to make it edit ready?  Say to 1920x1080?

    Thank you, Rodney 😎

I thought I'd tried everything but your simple solution has solved my problem.

    Much appreciated...
