MS Project 98 to 2016

Our company recently acquired MS Project 2016 for scheduling purposes. Our planner has been using Project 98. It seems these versions are incompatible. How do I convert the Project 98 files in order to access them in Project 2016?

    I have MSP 2003, 2007, 2010.

One of them should be able to open MSP98 files, and your MSP2016 will be able to open the MSP2010 file.

Send me the file, and I will convert it.

    DK_86_0919,

Hopefully Dale is correct but if it doesn't work, I should be able to convert them to a later version that will be compatible with Project 2016.

Microsoft Project 2016 should be able to open the project files created in the 98 version.  What happens when your planner opens an existing project in Microsoft Project 2016?  Please let us know and we will try to help you.
