Visio 2013 -- how to resize the text box for callouts

I use callouts quite a bit with Visio.  

When adding a callout, the master helpfully says "Drag the side handles to change the width of the text block."  But there no longer are any side handles on the text block!   So when the name I'm using with the callout is too long, my only option is to size down the font, which of course has its limits.  

Help will be appreciated.

    I'm having trouble extending the textbox dimensions on a callout as well.

    The best I can do is right click the box and select "Unlimited Paragraph" instead of "Narrow Paragraph" or "Medium Paragraph" and the textbox will automatically start to resize. Hope this helps!

    Winni,

    I'm having the EXACT same issue with the EXACT same version of Visio 2013. I see the points on the corners of the callout box when I click on it the second time, and frustratingly enough, even when I hover over them I get the "Resize" popup, however it won't allow me to resize. I actually accidentally figured this out.... it seems if you click on the callout ONE time, you get two points by which you can resize the text box:

    If you move the cursor over these points, you can click and drag to resize the box. VERY frustrating!

    Generally, we can resize the text box for callouts by the following method:

    Do you mean you are unable to drag it? If possible, could your please provide your detailed Visio 2013 version here? To check it, please click File > Account > About Visio. Then share the version number here.
