Automatic Double Line Spacing in Word for iPad

How can I turned off automatic double line spacing between paragraphs in Word for iPad? I was typing an address tonight and I didn't want double spacing between the lines of the address. I realize I can use SHIFT+ENTER to force single line spacing between paragraphs but this seems like something that should be able to be changed since a double space between paragraphs is not universally needed. Thank you.

Mark

Thank you for the reply. I had read that article on the MS Knowledge Forum but it didn't solve my problem. I understand now that double spaced paragraphs are the default in Word for iPad and that it cannot be changed. But I can work around it by using SHIFT+ENTER when I want a single space or I can choose the STYLES icon and choose NO SPACING to get the same effect.

I suggest Microsoft consider changing this in future updates of Word for iPad as a space between paragraphs is not universally needed or wanted. If that is desired it's much easier to simply press ENTER twice since most people don't know they can get a single line by pressing SHIFT+ENTER.

    Mark

The article linked above states that there should be a button for line spacing but my edition of Word for iPad doesn't have it in the home section (or anywhere else I've looked). Is there another place it might be? Thanks in advance.
