Amipro 3.1 .sam file converter to office 2013

I have some old AmiPro 3.1 files (*.sam) that I would like to convert to Office 2013running on Windows 8.1 or Windows 7.

Does anyone know how to do it?

I would prefer to hear from someone that has actually done it or at least  tested the method.

I would also consider any other contemporary Application such as, Open Officein lieu of Office 2013.

THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY HELP.

    Hello everybody.

A long time ago since the first post. But maybe someone

    is still searching.

I had the same problem. But I found a solution.

IBM has uploaded Lotus SmartSuite 9.8.1 incl. Fix Patch 6 in all Languages at Archive.org and it´s therefore freeware.

    https://archive.org/details/LotusSmartSuite99

This SmartSuite works also on 64bit surounding.

    Hope I can help somebody.

I have exactly the same problem, and also would like to find an (easier) option of data base than Access - I have had it for more than 14 yezars and find I do not have the time to waste setting it up for a small amount of time I would use it - at present data spread through 7 interrelated Excel spreadsheets.

    Hello Peter,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

There is no Microsoft tool to convert files to Office 2013 file format. You may contact Amipro manufacturer support to check if they can help you convert the Amipro files to Microsoft files.

Let us know if you require any other information or assistance.

    Thank you.
