Excel, Sort left to right greyed out, datasheet with headers

Hi,

I am trying to sort a sheet's column names, which should be possible with Sort & Filter>Options>Sort Left to right. However, the option is greyed out, and only sort top to bottom is available. The sheet does have headers setup to allow visibility and data entry in bottom rows. When I remove this header setting, all column titles are removed, and the option to sort left to right is still grey.

I am using Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus, version 1706 Excel (Current), and am signed into 365

Please Help!

    Hi Lucas,

Have you tried Mark's suggestion? Does the option available now? To convert the table to a range,  please select any cell in the table, and then clicking Table Tools > Convert to range.

    Let us know it helps.

    Regards,

    William

    Just one idea.

Is your data in an Excel Table.  If so, it is not possible to sort left to right in a Table.  You would need to convert it back to a normal range, sort it left to right, then convert it back to a Table.
