Excel spreadsheets no longer center horizontally

Although I've been able to center spreadsheets horizontally for printing in the past with no issues. Now it seems when I try to center in landscape, and it appears correct in the page preview, it actually prints with extra space on the right hand side of the spreadsheet, no matter what is changed (margins, etc.). I have made sure margins are equal on both sides, tried turning off and on "print to 1 page", etc. This seems to be a recent glitch. Has anyone else run into this issue or have a fix for it?

I have updated to the most recent version with no change in the issue.

As I stated several times before, this issue happens with any landscape view spreadsheet or workbook I open, including those in the past that were centered correctly upon printing.

I rebooted in safe mode, and the problem still persists.

    Hi Ginger,

Ok. When you have time to do a test, feel free to share with us the result after performing the following

    1.Reinstall the Office.

    2.Use another profile

3.As Phillip mentioned, there may be something wrong with your printer. Because the correct print view is the one Phillip shares, while your print view is including space for the scroll bar. Please remove your print driver and test it again.

    Regards,

    Sky

One of the first things I did was check for printer updates.

This issue happens with every printer I use, and we have multiple makes and models.

    1. See attached. I've included the Print view as you show, as well as the page setup settings. When printing, t seems to be including space for the scroll bar in the quick preview window (although the space still appears when the preview window is turned off). This is happening not only on this spreadsheet, but all my past spreadsheets, which previously printed correctly.

    1. Typically, I use the default "active sheets". However, the same issue happens if I select "entire workbook", or "selection".

    1. The version of Excel is 14.7.2.

    1. Mac version is Sierra, 10.12.3.

    Hi Gingerbreadcat,

To clarify your situation, we’d like to confirm some information to better help you on this case.

    1. Would you please provide the screenshot of the symptom? You can capture a screenshot of the settings in Print window.
    2. Which choice you have selected in Print What, Selection, Active Sheets or Entire Workbook? If you choose differently, will the print preview be changed?

    1. Please provide the Excel version, you can check it in Excel > About Excel.
    2. What’s the Mac version you are using?

    Regards,

    Tisky
