Dengxian Font Pack

Needing assistance with simplified Chinese font on Win 10 running Office 2013.

I have found Dengxian Font Pack provides Dengxian fonts, included in Microsoft Office 2016, for Microsoft Office 2010/2013.

When trying to install Dengxian Font Pack message appears, Dengxian Font Pack is not needed for this version of Windows.

I have also tried changing language and keyboard setup with Hot Keys Alt-Shift but I'm unclear how it's meant to translate.

I type in word using NSimSun Font and chinese fonts appear 1,2,3,4 etc and have to click on one.

I assumed Simplified Chinese Fonts - pick from font pick list and type away but different language font I have never used.

Any help much appreciated.

    Hi,

    It is true that Dengxian Font Pack provides Dengxian fonts, included in Microsoft Office 2016, for Microsoft Office 2010/2013. The reason why you were prompted that you do not need Dengxian Font Pack on your version of Windows is because of its system requirements. Dengxian Font Pack only support the following Operating System:

    • Windows 7
    • Windows 8
    • Windows 8.1

    Since you are running Windows 10, it won't be applicable on your Windows version.
