Excel Autofill and Paste 'smart-tags' are missing

Hi, in my version of Excel (Office 365) I am no longer seeing the little white-and-blue tags that should appear when you use AutoFill or Paste. The ones that allow you to choose 'Fill without Formatting' or 'Fill Series', etc.

Is there a place where I can switch them on, or some other reason they've gone?

Thanks

Thanks Bernard. I don't know how that had become deselected - perhaps some arcane shortcut key that I pressed by accident. But thank you for your straightforward  and effective answer.

It's possible to include the Smart Tags option in Office 365 Home, but it needs to have a specific coding in Excel. We recommend that you post this concern to the MSDN forum for further assistance. Click here to proceed.

Hi, I'm afraid this doesn't answer my question, you say:

    1. that I cannot get this in 365 home
    2. that I can find it in an add in - if so which add in? I can't find it in the store

Also, I am surprised that MS have taken away a feature that has been in Excel for years and three different versions. Are you sure that they've done this?

    Hi,

The Smart Tags allow you to recognize specific data and provides options based on the type of data recognized in Excel. Did you upgrade your Office application?

Regarding your concern about the Smart Tags, we suggest that you use add-ins to add this feature. With Excel 2016, this function is unavailable. You can use the Tell me what you want to do tab in Excel to look for other feature and functions available for you.
