Processes in Microsoft 365 for setting up Office apps, redeeming product keys, and activating licenses.
Hi all,
Thank you for taking your time to read and reply.
@Phillip: Sadly it doesn't help at all. All it does is advertising for a software/ app that you have to buy for it to supposedly look into your installed program to get all of your product keys. If I had to shell out money I'd rather take the direct course of action and just buy a new key from MS.
FORTUNATELY the issue is resolved via the graceful help of a MS Answer Desk CS Officer.
@E: I think it's what you were referring to. I got through to a MS Answer Desk Officer who was very kind and patient in assisting a customer.
I was actually quite prepared to throw in the towel and pay for a new product key (although begrudgingly, since it's through no fault of my own). Good thing I met this very good CS Officer who was actually very passionate in what she does -- helping customers. I must tell you as a CSO she was willing to explore other options and actually consider customer's situations.
I think our session went for almost an hour overall, and not once did she show boredom or tiredness. On the contrary, she had shown utmost politeness and respect throughout the chat. When the majority of CS tend to want you out of their lines after several minutes or failed attempts (of which you can sense or hear), this one still showed willingness to work together to resolve the issue. Truly, she is the epitome of CSO's everywhere.
In the end vote after our session was over, I gave her 5 stars rating. I would've still given her 5 stars even if the issue wasn't resolved simply because of her determination and sincerity to help -- in addition to her patience.
I asked her if I can share the session's link to my friends if they have problems related to MS, and she said yes, because she'd love to help out MS customers. So imho, it's not a bad idea to share her (screen) name here, so if you have MS-related issues, you can try chatting to her: Che-che. Note that naturally there's no guarantee your issue will be resolved, but rest assured you'll have one of the most sincere and passionate assistance.
I'm sorry this has been too long, and I'm rambling, but it's just I haven't received such good CS experience in years. And it helped me overcome a very annoying issue, in 1 single session. So I'm still moved. Also as disclaimer, this is not an endorsement. I don't know her and she doesn't know me, either. Simply a genuine experience from a (formerly disgruntled to a satisfied) customer. Thank you for reading.
And MS, you've got yourself a gem here. The lady is a keeper. Don't let her get away.
