How to change Text Box Sidebar colour?

Please see the attached picture above. I am trying to change the colour of the header (circled in red) that was automatically set as grey. No matter what I do, it's still grey. How do I change the colour for this text box (Viewmaster Sidebar) so that it fits my document's aesthetics? Going to Design > Page Border doesn't work despite prior advice in another question.

You can change the color by putting the selection in the text and the access the borders and shading dialog and in that dialog, changing the color

Doing it that way however, you are limited to applying the maximum available width of 6pt, which is somewhat less than the border that was there originally

If you want to keep the original dimensions, it is necessary to locate the borders in the document.xml file (accessible after changing the file extension to .zip and then extracting the files from the archive) and change the w:themeColor setting for the borders from its default “text1” to one of the accents such as “accent1”

It is then possible to manipulate the color via the Create New Theme Colors dialog for the selected Accent#

Hi Suzanne, thank you for your response. It seems to be that way, because I am unable to "highlight" any part of that box and header's underline. Unfortunately, my Word skills are very limited and the most I can do to try to address this was to check out the forums and try every method I come accross.

For now, I am able to close one eye and print it out in this colour, but for other documents, I'll need to be able to tweak the colour to adhere to the overall style, otherwise I have to forgo using sidebars altogether.

It's a shame because those text box sidebars smarten up the document and give it a polished look without being overly pretentious.

    Thank you again.

I'll be interested to see if Doug can figure this one out. I tried it myself, and I don't see any way to access that block. Because of the way the mouse pointer behaves when I mouse over it, I have a strong suspicion that the line and shading are part of a two-cell table that must be somehow behind and locked to the text box, but I couldn't figure out any way to access it.
