Again: word only displays italic and cannot change

Again: word only displays italic for some fonts and they cannot be changed to regular. Even after changing to calabri, changeing back does not fix it.

I have removed the fonts, and reinstalled.

Anybody have a REAL idea?

    Thank you for your response

This is happening on two computers. (They are clones.)

Both have been working fine for months. So, i'm thinkin' a windows update caused this issue.

This has happened before.  I do not remember how i fixed it.

The default font for word is Courier Screenplay.

It is italic in a new document, which probably means the default template is corrupted.

Other fonts are not italic. But when changing text to courier screenplay it becomes italic, and will not change to regular.

i removed the font. And installed it again, twice

All fonts are in the folder: Book, Bold, Italic, Italic Bold.

Gonna delete the default template and rebuild it.

Let's first establish one thing whether the Regular font is existing or not.

Type %windir%\fonts in Windows search to reach to Font folder. Now, check whether Regular font which you are selecting is there or not say Calibri.

    Please let us know.
