How do I find my startup Word folder?

When I go to advanced options, file location it doesnt bring me to the start up folder.

How to find it or change back to default settings if it has been changed?

The File Locations dialog can show you the path to the Startup folder (you have to click on the Startup item in the list and then click the Modify button to see and copy the full path, but then cancel the dialog without making any change, and use the copied path in the File Explorer), but that's never been a good way to do it.

The Startup folder is several levels deep inside the AppData folder in your Windows profile, so (like everything else in AppData) it's a hidden folder. The easiest way to get there is to open the Windows File Explorer, type %appdata% in the address bar, and press Enter. That takes you to the AppData\Roaming folder in your profile. From there you can work your way down to AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Word\Startup.

Another way in File Explorer is to check the Hidden Items check box on the View tab. Then you can start from C:\ and work down to C:\Users<your login name>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Word\Startup.
